This autoethnography is about life with a dog. An autoethnography is a form of self-reflection and writing that connects personal experience to cultural meanings. I have had three dogs throughout my lifetime, all of whom I have been abnormally obsessed with. Although I obviously love my dogs the most, I truly do love dogs in general. I feel like having a dog has shaped my personality and that there is a sense of community amongst dog lovers. I hope that by exploring this site, you learn from or can relate to “the not so ruff life.”
